Raising funds for DMU’s Square Mile India Project by walking 10,000 steps for 10 consecutive days.

Why?

I’m raising funds for DMU’s Square Mile India Project by walking 10,000 steps for 10 consecutive days. Hoping to raise £500 for the charity, and then flying to India in December to help with community projects in Ahmedabad, and the people there living in difficult conditions.

What?

At home - I will be doing a step challenge, by walking 10,000 steps a day for 10 consecutive days.

In India - We will spend a week in Ahmedabad, where we will be involved in various life-changing projects, volunteering with the Loving Community Project, the Gandhi Ashram Project, and participating in many volunteering workshops, and see the positive impact that Square Mile India has on local the residents.

When?

I will be starting the 10 day 10,000 step challenge on the 10/10/2018, and then traveling to India on the 1st of December.

Who?

I will be volunteering with other DMU Alumni alongside current DMU students, working together to make a difference to the community.
